What you are setting up

Four moving pieces. You already own two of them.

LPFT Elite is a complete trading system: a bot that decides when a trade should happen, and a desktop app that applies the rules and places the order for you. Nothing about it is a signal group and nothing about it is copy-trading — the software runs on your own machine, in your own broker account.

Every step below wires up one of those arrows. It takes about two hours, once.

ImportantFollow every step exactly. Each setting exists because something specific breaks without it — a missed checkbox is the difference between a bot that trades and a bot that sits silent all day while everything looks fine.

TradingView: Premium, and live data

Two things must be true here, or nothing downstream works.

1. Premium — not a tier below it

This is a hard technical requirement, not an upsell, and there are exactly two reasons.

What the method needsWhich plans have it
1-second chart intervals. The bots run on a 1-second chart, and alerts on second-based intervals are a Premium feature.Premium and above only
Open-ended alerts. Your alert must never expire. On lower tiers it dies after two months — silently, while everything still looks fine.Premium and above only
ImportantEssential and Plus cannot run this method. Do not buy a cheaper tier hoping to upgrade later — you will spend the money and still have nothing that works.

2. Real-time CME futures data

Without it your chart runs on delayed prices, and a bot acting on delayed prices is worse than no bot. It is a small separate subscription inside TradingView — $7.00/month at the non-professional rate.

Heads upChoose non-professional if that is genuinely you. Professional status costs many times more, and mostly applies if you trade on behalf of others or are registered with a financial regulator.

3. Two-factor authentication

Your TradingView account will be driving live orders. Turn 2FA on under Profile menu → Account and billing → Security.

04

Your futures account

This decides your contract size and which engine you can use.

Your contract size is set by your account size

This is part of the published method, not a preference. Trading a different size is allowed, but it makes you ineligible for the 90-Day Guarantee, because your results would no longer compare like-for-like with ours.

Prop account sizeContracts per trade

Prop firm / evaluation account on TradovateUsually noYes

Any other broker TradersPost supportsNoYes
ImportantTradovate does not sell API access to prop firm or evaluation accounts — their policy requires a live, funded Tradovate account with at least $1,000 in it. If you are on an evaluation or funded prop account, Engine B is your path. Some firms negotiate their own arrangements, so ask your firm directly if they advertise API access.

Tradovate, NinjaTrader and Rithmic

  • Tradovate and NinjaTrader are the same brokerage. NinjaTrader acquired Tradovate; today it is one clearing firm with several front ends. Your login is the same account whether you open Tradovate Web, NinjaTrader Desktop or mobile.
  • NinjaTrader Desktop has its own separate app login for the software licence. Sign into that first, then connect your Tradovate brokerage account inside it, and choose the newer NinjaTrader connection type rather than the legacy Tradovate one.
  • Rithmic accounts cannot use Engine A. Rithmic and Tradovate are mutually exclusive routing systems — a Rithmic-brokered account is not reachable through the Tradovate API at all. If your firm put you on Rithmic, you are on Engine B.

Prop firm accounts are normally approved within minutes, so opening one should not hold up the rest of your setup.

05

Your bots are already waiting

Nothing to request. Nothing to wait for.

The moment you register, both Elite bots are granted to the TradingView username on your account. They are invite-only scripts, so nobody can find them by searching — they simply appear in your account.

Where to find them

  1. Open any chart on TradingView.
  2. Click Indicators in the top toolbar.
  3. Open the Invite-only scripts tab on the left.
  4. Both LPFT bots are listed there.
Heads upYour TradingView username must be exactly right at signup — it is your username, not your email address, and they are different. A typo is the only reason the grant ever lands in the wrong place, and it is a two-minute fix.
06

Install and activate the app

Download, unzip, activate. No Python, no command line.

LPFT Copilot is a normal desktop app for Windows and Mac. Your licence key arrives in your signup email, you enter it once on that computer, and you never enter it again — not even after an update.

Heads upExtract the zip before running the app. Running it from inside the zip is the single most common install problem and it produces errors that look like the app is broken when it is not.

Your settings and your trade logbook are stored on your own computer, outside the app folder, so updating or reinstalling never wipes your history.

07

Choose your engine

The only real decision. Both trade the same method on the same signals.

Your orders can reach your broker one of two ways. Both trade exactly the same method, on exactly the same signals, at exactly the same moment. The difference is the plumbing and the price — and, for most people, which one their account actually allows.

OR

Pick one to look inside. You can always come back — and in the app you can switch engines later with a single dropdown.

Multiple accounts at onceOne account.Yes — several accounts on one strategy.

You must pick one: the strategy cannot execute without an engine behind it. You are not locked in — one dropdown in the app switches between them, instantly.

TipLarger accounts can arm the second engine as an automatic backup. If the primary route has an order refused mid-session, the other takes over and finishes the day without anyone touching anything.
08

Your chart and the one alert

A specific chart configuration, one indicator, and exactly one alert.

The bots run on a specific chart configuration — chart type, interval and a short list of settings that have to match exactly. Your member guide gives you every one of them with a screenshot to copy, because getting a single one wrong silently changes what the bot sees.

Then you add the Reversal Elite bot from your invite-only scripts, set your contract size in its settings, and create one alert that carries the signal to your app.

ImportantOne chart, one alert, one account. Putting the bot on several charts does not produce more trades — it produces duplicated and conflicting orders.
TipThe exact chart settings, the indicator configuration and every screenshot live in the member setup guide, inside the app and as a PDF. They are not published here.
09

Size, risk, news and time zone

What you configure once, and what it protects you from.

Contract size

You pick your account type and size and the app prints the published contract count for it, then warns you if what you typed does not match. The published size is part of the method, not a suggestion — a mismatched size is not claim-eligible.

Your daily loss stop

Measured in points per contract, with a minimum of 100. Critically, it is measured against your broker — only trades your broker actually executed count, never an estimate derived from the strategy's alert stream. You also set a dollar limit inside your broker: the app's stop is the everyday one, the broker's is the one that still works when your computer does not.

The news filter

One toggle. On, it holds new entries around high-impact US economic events — one hour before to one hour after — and around major Nasdaq earnings. Off, it trades through them. A trade already open is never closed by the filter; it keeps its target, its trailing protection and the 3:00 PM flat-out exactly as normal.

Your time zone

The session is fixed to the US market: new entries 10:30 AM – 2:15 PM ET, everything flat by 3:00 PM ET, Monday to Friday. Set your time zone and the app shows every one of those times in your own clock — the trades still happen at the same real moment as everyone else's.

Heads upBoth news-filter settings are eligible for the guarantee, but you must keep the one you chose for the full 90 days. Switching mid-period breaks the like-for-like comparison a claim depends on.
10

Your trading day

Ten minutes of checking, then hands off and eyes on.

Open the app by 9:55 AM ET. It runs a readiness check across your whole setup — licence, engine, broker, your alert, your contract size, your loss limit — and tells you if anything needs fixing while there is still time to fix it.

Then the app waits for a signal, checks it against the session, the news filter and your loss limit, places the order, manages the exit, and flattens everything by 3:00 PM ET.

ImportantHands off does not mean walk away. Automation fails — internet drops, computers restart, brokers have outages. The bot has guardrails for all of it, but you are the last line of defence and the guarantee terms expect you to be watching.

Some days produce no trades at all. The method stands down in strongly trending conditions and around major news. A quiet day is the filter doing its job, not a broken bot.

You can stop it at any time

There are stops at every level: flatten and exit now, pause new entries, a kill switch, the alert in TradingView, and your broker's own controls, which work even with your computer off. The member guide lists exactly what each one stops and what it does not.

11

The 90-Day Guarantee

Run it properly for 90 days and the evidence builds itself.

Every trade in your logbook is one your broker actually executed. Nothing is estimated and nothing is derived from the bot's intentions — if your broker did not fill it, it is not in there. The list is hash-chained, so it cannot be quietly edited after the fact, which is exactly what makes it worth something as evidence.

Your day count runs on the dashboard from the day your membership starts, eligibility is computed automatically, and there is no form to keep or remember to fill in.

TipReporting a problem, an outage, a broker rejection or a trade missed because your alert was off never counts against you. They are logged with their reason.
