LPFT Copilot is the desktop app that applies the rules, places your orders and records every trade your broker actually executed. It is a normal app — no Python, no command line. Your licence key is in your signup email; you enter it once on this computer and never again, not even after an update.

First launch: Windows shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen because the build is not code-signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. That is expected, and it only happens the first time.

macOS

macOS 12 or newer, Apple Silicon & Intel

First launch: macOS will say the app is from an unidentified developer, because the build is not notarised yet. Right-click (or Control-click) the app, choose Open, then Open again in the dialog. That is expected, and it only happens the first time.

After it downloads

  1. Unzip it first. Running the app from inside the zip is the number one setup problem and it produces errors that look like the app is broken when it is not. Drag the folder out of the zip, then open LPFT Copilot from there.
  2. Get past the first-launch warning using the note on your platform's card above. The builds are not code-signed yet, so both Windows and macOS ask once.
  3. Paste your licence key. Open the Settings tab and paste the key from your signup email into the licence box. Once, on this computer — never again, not even after an update.
  4. Follow the setup guide. The full guide is a 77-page PDF: every click, every screenshot, every exact setting, both automation engines. Open the 77-page PDF guide → — the same guide is built into the app under Setup guide, and there is a public overview on the setup guide page.
Updates are automatic. The app checks for a new build on its own and installs it silently, verifying the publisher's signature first and refusing anything that does not verify. You never download from this page twice.

Something not working?

No licence key? It is in your signup email. If you cannot find it, email info@livepropfirmtrading.com and we will resend it.
